Obadiah

The prophet Obadiah pronounces God's harsh judgment on the proud nation of Edom for their cruelty toward Israel during the Babylonian exile. However, Obadiah also prophesies hope - that God will restore His people and make a way for even the Edomites to experience salvation through the coming of His kingdom.

This small book reveals God's opposition to prideful arrogance while also displaying His heart to redeem even Israel's oldest enemies through the humility of repentance.
