
Nathan Eikenberry
Lead Pastor
Pastor Nathan grew up in Rossville, IN where he attended school through high school graduation. Nathan graduated college from Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania (formerly Baptist Bible College) with a Bachelor of Science in Bible. He then continued his education at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he completed a Master of Divinity in 2014. He also completed a D.Min. at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2025. Nathan has been married to his wife, Eve, since 2009 and has 3 kids: Annabelle, James, and Asher. Nathan enjoys good books and movies, playing games with friends, and spending time with family.

Alex Schwartz
Worship & Discipleship Pastor
Pastor Alex grew up West of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Truett McConnell University in May 2014 with a Bachelors in Music, concentration in Contemporary Worship. He moved to Lafayette, Indiana with his wife in May of 2016 to accept the call to pastoral ministry at Cornerstone. He completed his Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2024. He and his wife, Hannah, have been married since 2015. Together, they have 2 kids: Evelyn and Noah. Alex enjoys the Atlanta Braves, disc golf, and time with his family.

Josh Pyper
Student & Family Pastor
Pastor Josh grew up in metro-Detroit Michigan and loves all things Detroit sports. He attended Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelors of Science in Bible and a MA in Education. Josh has been married to Gretchen since 2014, and they have three sons: Titus, James and David. Josh enjoys all things sports and outdoors including golf and soccer.

Mike Vauters
Lay Pastor
Pastor Mike served as lead pastor of Cornerstone for 25 years. Mike currently works full time with SmallChurch USA and serves as a lay pastor. He and his wife, Cathy, have been married over 40 years. They both grew up in Linden (just south of Lafayette) and were childhood sweethearts. Together, they have 3 grown children who are faithfully serving the Lord, and 8 grandchildren. Mike likes to be on the water fishing or skiing, enjoys remodeling projects, and running in the Indy Mini marathon.

Annexe Souffrance
Pastoral Intern
Annexe grew up in Bohoc, Haiti, where he attended school through the undergraduate level. He graduated from UCCC (Christian University of the Community of Caïman) in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, Indiana, with the goal, God willing, of returning home to Haiti to serve in ministry. Since 2024, Annexe has been married to his wife, Heather, and they have a son, Xavi. In addition to his studies and ministry, Annexe enjoys playing and watching soccer, painting, learning languages, and spending quality time with family and friends.
